Indoor Soccer

Matthew played indoor soccer this year. He loved it. His team is getting quite cohesive. It's really fun to watch them. Matthew also loves Adidas. He Joe and Ryan have matching jackets. Mathew wears his everyday! Literally. I have to wash it at night while he is sleeping.

Blue and Gold

Matthew started boy scouts this year and he loves it. For the Blue and Gold Banquet he had to make a cake with Brian. His first thought was to check out Pinterest to get some ideas. :) I thought his cake turned out super cute. The actual night of the banquet was super crazy and I think my kids each had about 5 pieces of cake! Brian is the new Cubmaster and did a great job.

Cookie Time

Brin has been selling Girl Scout cookies this past month. Between family, Brian's work and our neighbor who bought over 50 boxes Brinley has sold all her boxes!

One benefit to selling cookies is going to the Aquarium for a Girl Scout adventure. They got to learn about water, go through the exhibits, sleepover next to the Sharks, go on a behind the scenes tour which included seeing mermaids and last but not least playing with a baby binterong!

DU Hockey

Brian had some tickets to the University of Denver hockey game so we took Matt and his best friend Joe. They had so much fun watching the game, the fights, eating hits dogs and dipping dots and winning prizes. I wish we lived closer to a university or at least had a vested interest in a Colorado school. The games are so much fun to go to!!

Macie was excited to jump in the chair and have her teeth cleaned. Weird, I know!

My kids absolutely love their dentist, Dr. Mudd. She really is so amazing. The kids had their 6 month check up and even Macie sat in the chair, opened her mouth wide and let them clean her teeth. I was very impressed because the last time we went she screamed and would not let the doctor even look in her mouth. And of course the best part is nobody had any cavities!! 

Opinionated

This girl has gotten a mind of her own lately. The other night she refused to wear pj's. She insisted she was not naked because she was sleeping with a towel. She is almost 3 which I think is way more terrible than 2!

Poor boy wanted to Sea Hawks to win. We thought they had it in the bag until the final minutes. Thankfully we watched the ending or else we would have gone to be thinking they had won. He slept with his football. :(

Cuties

These two girls are just the cutest. They play together so well together, sleep in the same bed and pretty much do everything together. The other day I wanted to run some errands but they just wanted to stay home and play babies. So we just camped out at home and I did stuff around the house.

I need to find them a cheap shelf or bookshelf. All the junk at the top of their bed drives me crazy!

Subway date with Mom. Subway is our favorite and the best part is the girls actually eat the same sandwich I do with lettuce, tomatoes, etc. We get a foot long and then split it.

Addi has been drawing everyday! Literally she makes notes for everyone everyday. I have paper all over my house!

When we were at my Mom's house this is how Macie fell asleep.

One night it was just me, the little girls and my Grandma so we had dinner together. I love that the girls know and love their Great-Grandma. And no one on earth makes pancakes like she does...just sayin.

One night they snuck out and slept on the big pillow out in the loft. It doesn't look comfortable at all!

Girls

I am very excited to be having another baby girl. Girls are just so much fun. Addi and Macie do everything together and I love what good friends they have become. Matthew and Brinley can play well together but I feel like the just don't like the same things because Matthew naturally likes boy things and Brinley likes girl things. I love having two girls right in a row.

Up until a week or so ago Macie has been just the sweetest most obedient darling girl. Then something changed...she has been whiny, needy and refuses to go to bed. She will say to me, "I can't stop whining" or "I can't be happy" in a very whiny and dramatic tone. It's quite cute on some level but very exhausting as well. Her and Addi have been fighting more which is hard too. I have been debating about all day kindergarten for Addison and the more they fight the more I think it may be a good idea. But in the meantime I can't wait for my sweet little Macie to come back. She is almost 3 and I remember 3 years old being a hard age for all my kids. She has some obsessive and controlling tendencies that I want to nip in the pants now before she gets older.
