Happy Birthday to ME!

I had the best birthday ever! My parents, Kenzie, Alisha and Brooklyn surprised me Saturday night by ringing my doorbell. I was feeling sad because I really wanted to be with my family on my birthday. We had talked about them coming out but my Mom had a camp retreat and Spirit Week so I was totally not expecting them to be able to come. Needless to say it was a GREAT weekend! We played games, went on a long walk (our yard has no snow!), and went to my favorite restaurant, Olive Garden. I was so sad to see them go but we had a ton of fun! I tried to upload the video Brian took when I opened up the door to find Brooklyn sitting on the doorstep but it was way to big!

Butterfly Pavilion

We went to the Butterfly Pavilion last Saturday. It was really fun and the kids loved to see all the butterflies and other weird bugs!

Little Princess

Brinley has never let me do her hair, that is until recently. I used to try and pull her hair out of her eyes and she would, without fail, take out her hair things! Now, for whatever reason, she loves to do her hair in braids or piggies. She even lets me curl it. This was the first time she let me curl all her hair and she looked so beautiful we had to get a great picture to share!

Brinley's Big Bed!!

On Saturday we took down Brinley's crib and set up her very own big bed. She absolutely loves it! The best part is that she actually stays in her bed, even when she wakes up in the morning! She will usually say, "Mom, I awake!" or she will go to her door and knock until we tell her it is ok for her to come out of her room.

Blow Out

The other morning I woke up to Matt talking/crying in his crib. I went in there to find what looked like chocolate smeared across his forehead. I thought, "Where would he have gotten some chocolate? So I asked him what was on his face. He then flipped over his blanked and showed me a whole bunch of "chocolate" stains. I picked him up and this is what I found!!

This is Brinley and our friends baby named Payton. She kept trying to say "Payton" and one time called him "Penton" then laughed and said "I call him Penton."

Brinley's favorite thing to do is play "Dizzy, Dizzy." That is where Brian plays music on his PDA and spins Brinley in his office chair. She LOVES it!
