Matt loves his car! The camera was tilted to the side and I cant rotate it. Oops!

Brinley has gone potty in the big girl potty 4 or 5 times this week. Yeah! She is probably ready to be potty trained but I want to wait until after the new year because we have so many trips to Utah planned! Any ideas on how to potty train???

I decided I want to stay in Colorado so we don't have to decide which family to hang out with, we can just hang out with ourselves and if you want to see us you can come out here. :)

Not much happened this week. A few of the highlights are below.

-Matthew is getting his first top tooth. It is so close to breaking through!

-Brian is the youth volleyball coach. He had 22 youth show up for their 8:00am game on Saturday morning.

-I actually started scrapbooking. Yeah!

-Brinley was being a little pill one day and so I put her in a t-shirt for bed that said "99% angel" on it and told her that hopefully the shirt would make her more like an angel during the night. Well, the next morning she woke up and told Brian that her shirt said "Jesus." It was really cute that she correlated being an angel to Jesus! :)

-Brinley officially does not use a binky. HOORAY!

This week was good. Brian officially started classes and really likes it. He has class every night Monday through Thursday. He is really busy but still makes time to play with the kids. Brian and Brinley have shot the "Blow Gunner" pretty much everyday this week for at least 20 minutes. Brinley can hit targets and she can blow the darts hard enough that they stick in a cardboard box. Brinley says" Do the blow gunner actually." When I took their picture for the blog she said "Oh that's darling."



The ward is great out here. Everyone is so nice. Last Friday we went to a BBQ and found some people that qualify to be our friends.....they play Settlers, watch 24, and stay up late!!! Ha Ha! It was really a fun night. We had blast and learned an awesome game to play at the cabin.


Also, this week I made drapes for the kids rooms. I forgot to take a picture of Matt's before he went to bed but here is a picture of Brinley's drapes. The fabric has embroidered flowers with little sparkly things sewn in the fabric.

Here are some pictures from when my family came out to visit last week. We had so much fun! We went to Water World, watched the BYU game, walked around the 16th Street mall, watched movies and played games. There is also a picture of the work done on our basement.

We spoke in church today. It was good but we are glad it is over. We had to sit down on the front row and take turns watching the kids. I got a new calling as 13-14 year old sunday school teacher. I am sure Brian will get one soon! As one member told Brian "We like fresh blood."

Matthew has suddenly turned into an eating machine! He eats and eats and eats! The catch is that he wont eat baby food! He has to pick the food up himself. He is getting so cute and animated. He is even starting to learn a few signs.

Brinley is just a doll. The birdies on our roof bit her binkies and she is having a real hard time. There was one binky up on a bookshelf that she found that a birdy hadn't bit :( she was so happy I thought she was going to cry. So now the birds need to come and get the new found binky!
