Our Little Princess!

We made it!

Well, we finally made it to Denver!! We are still unpacking and trying to organize our house. It is a lot of work! Matthew, Brian and I have been sick since we left. Matthew and I are finally getting over it but Brian is still really congested. We didn't have have any air conditioning when we moved in either so the first couple of days were pretty miserable being so hot and taking care of a sick baby. Life is good though and we feel like we are supposed to be here. I personally feel so, I don't know the word to use but, so strengthened. I can feel the power of the prayers that have been offered in behalf of our family. I was sure that I was going to be an emotional wreck this first week but I am actually doing really well. I really like living here and haven't been homesick yet.

We love having our own house and Brian even trimmed and sprayed the lawn on Saturday (he use to claim he worked enough as a teenager that he didn't need to do anymore but I think he feels a sense of ownership :) ) Brinley is doing really well. The first couple of days she would say things like "I no like this house" or "Not this house." But, now I think she is really enjoying herself. She pushes her babies in the stroller around our block and rocks them and sings to them. Her baby is named "Cindy." I am not sure where she got that name? I think she has grown up so much in just a week. She will say "Oh my goodness, I gotta go to Denver" or "I'm a big girl" as she pours her own milk. She loves to make Matthew laugh and they are starting to play really well together.
