Happy Birthday Matthew

Matthew turned 2 on December 10th, 2008. We put a whole bunch of balloons in his room while he was sleeping. He was pretty excited to wake up to all the balloons. Earlier in the week I had been telling him that it was going to be his birthday pretty soon but he kept saying "no birthday." Once he saw the balloons and opened his first present he was pretty excited for it to be his birthday.

In the morning he got to open a present from Grammy. My Mom had made him a Spiderman blanket with a soft back (Matthew's favorite!). That night we went to McDonald's and got the kids Happy Meals and played in the playground. After we came home we sang Happy Birthday, ate cake and opened presents. Matt's Motorcycle cake. I got lit 2 candles and didn't realize they were trick candles so they kept relighting. Matthew thought it was pretty cool.

Matthew got a train table for his birthday and Christmas. He loves it!
