1st Day of Kindergaten

Brinley was so excited for the first day of school. She was dressed and ready 3 hours before we had to go. The whole week prior she had a countdown for every day that passed. The second day she was there for the whole 3 hours. After I picked her up she said that kindergarten felt like "30 hundred thousand hours." She is too cute and growing up too fast!

 I have mixed emotions...I am so excited for her because she is so excited and I am kinda depressed thinking that my little baby girl is in kindergarten. First because I remember my first day of kindergarten (can I really be that old) and second because I feel a serious loss of freedom. What if I want to take off to Utah for 2 weeks! The first day of kindergarten was the last day of freedom for me. For the next 20+ years I will have a child in school. The district calendar will dictate what days we have off and what time I get up in the morning. Its just weird that this day finally came. I remember rocking Brinley when she was just little thinking that she would never be this big! Time goes by so fast!
